Right Way Up

Xenon capsizes, righting, preventing

Usually the flash burgee monster strikes at least twice a month.  At a cost of £6.00 per capsizing for eaten burgee it is probably worth investing in floats for the mast.  Ping pong balls don't really work as you can't get them high enough in the mast, they don't go past the jib exit.  Topper supply the xenon with only one float.  This slows down the capsizing process but it doesn't prevent it.  Now, if you invest in a second float the mast will lay flat on the water and you can even stand on it to climb on to the centreboard.   For the xenon sailor this means no more loss of burgees and loss of time during races.
